Philodendron – is a genus of plants from the aroid family, which includes over 700 species. The second most abundant genus after the anthurium of the Araceae family. The cob-shaped inflorescence is characteristic of the Aroid family. They are found mainly in the tropical forests of America, Mexico, Paraguay and Argentina.
